Greetings
A good turnout last night meant we were able to run three games. Chris put on a Lion Rampant game for Andy H and Rob, Steve S played a Pirates of the Caribbean game and Steve H ran his new Zombicide - Black Plague - game for the rest of us. Not a bad evening all told . . .
Next week, I've offered to run a Dark Ages Lion Rampant game in the run up to the Tonbridge show next month, Steve S has agreed to supply various board games and no doubt we will come up with something else too!

20th January Games
Greetings
Very thin on the ground last night - doubtless due to the very cold conditions and problems with the trains reported.
I ran a Space Hulk game for those present, which resulted in an honourable draw with much slaughter on both sides - typical Space Hulk really . . .
Nothing specific planned for next week - memoir 44 maybe?

13th January Games
Greetings
First, some sad news. Dave Knightly has advised me that his mother passed away recently; I have extended our sympathies prior to her funeral next week.
We were a bit thin on the ground this week. Steve S ran a Wings of War game for Mark and Andy, while I ran a playtest of a set of naval rules for pre-dreadnoughts which Alan and Steve H were kind enough to participate in. The rules are very basic but ran ok, some tweaks are required.
Next week, I've been asked to run a Space Hulk game and various people have agreed to bring some board games to provide further options as required.

6th January Games
Greetings
Our first meeting of the new year took place last night. Steve S, Alan and Josh were play testing the 'Age of Sigmar' rules, which were admittedly simpler than earlier GW fantasy rules but still led to some 'spirited discussion', as it were. . . .
Steve H had brought along the new 'Zombicide - Black Plague' which he had subscribed to as a kickstarter; this was immediately seized upon as the other game for the evening and proved to be immense fun. Another club-night classic in the making, methinks?
No Pictures due to the unpainted nature of both games.
Next week, Steve S has agreed to run a game of Wings of War/Glory. I've offered to run either a Napoleonic naval or a pre-dreadnought game, depending on whether or not I cn sort out the details for the latter.

23rd December Games
Greetings
Still a bit thin on the ground this week, but to be expected with Christmas almost upon us.
Steve S ran the traditional Lost World / Dinosaur Hunt, while I reprised my role as the Beast Master.
Chris won the game while Josh was an honoured second, having gathered Masai followers, cattle, Queen Victoria (Gawd bless her) and saundry lesser mortals in his travels.
Next time, Steve has suggested a game of Age of Sigmar, so we need to have a think about what other games to have to hand.
My best wishes to all.

16th December Games
Greetings
Better turnout this week - we ran an In Her Majesty's Name game. This went fairly well given we had had a previous game under our belts and would be something to pursue further in 2016.
Next Wednesday, being the final meeting before Christmas, we will run the 'traditional' Great Dinosaur Hunt. Debate continues as to whether sand and onion stuffing or cranberry sauce goes best with Brontosaurus steaks . . . .
Hope to see you next week; if not, may your Christmas be whatever colour you wish and full of joy.
