Greetings

The Steves ran their planned Warmachine game last night; Steve H was apparently the victor.

I ran 'The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey' board game as an alternative for the rest of those present. The game followed it's usual pattern of anarchy, back stabbing and Tolkeinian double ententes until Dave K ran out as winner in his guise of Thornin Oakenshield.

Next week, Steve S has offered to run a WW1 Wings of War game. Steve H is looking at a board game based on the first Viking raids on England, whilst I'll bring Battle Cry to soak up any additional players.

4th May Games

Greetings

A bit low on numbers this week due to holidays, but two interesting games nonetheless.

The Steves and Alan were play-testing Warmachine - more tuition required apparently.

I ran a Dark Ages Lion's Rampant game for Josh and Chris; Josh had to escort a V.I.P off the table and was successful in doing so. He claims that the success was due to employing NFL blitz tactics, but I don't think the Norse had access to the game despite the Vinland settlements!

Next week's games include Warzone and a Napoleon naval affair.

9th April Games

Pretty busy last night with three games on the go. Mark and co. ran a Lord of the Rings game, the two Steves were trying out War Machine, and my Ludis Gladiatorius setup made a return as part of the projected upgrade of the game to a 54mm participation game for 2015. 

Next week we have an offer of Mark's SWAT game and I have been requested to run Angels 20 by Mr. Crook who assures me he will be in attendance.

Salute is this Saturday at ExCel, when the Frantic Four will present a 1914 Race to the Sea game. This will be their final game for the club after many years of work, so please turn out to support them if you can.
