15th January Games

Greetings

Very quiet last night. Steve S and Dave K played Last Night on Earth, whilst I ran Lion Rampant for Bronze Age Greek forces to give Matt and Steve H a game. Matt had to leave early, but by that point he was losing troops badly, so Steve and I won . . . I think.

It was nice to see a French and Indian Wars game on another table using the Muskets & Tomahawks rules.

At this point, I've offered to run a Napoleonic Naval game next week, any other offers would be most welcome.

See yer soon

3rd June Games

Greetings

Two decent games this week; Steve Slater ran a French and Indian Wars game, while I gave my revamped War of the Roses armies a run out using Lion's Rampant.

Next week, Andy P will run a Pirates game, while Steve Harbron and I want to run out the X Wing stuff prior to the broadside show which is on the 14 June.

See yer soon

29th October Games

It was quite a healthy turn out but due to the staggered time people turned up, only one game was actually run, so thanks to Steve Slater for running his multiplayer French Indian Wars game for those who turned up.

The game itself quickly devolved into the British light infantry unit holding up two units of Indians in the dense forest, while two units of French marines held back two units of British militia until a flanking action by the British Rangers forced them to lose ground nearer the river. It was a close run game but ultimately it was the British who held the river at the end of the game.
