3rd May Games

Better turnout this week; Dave K ran his zombie apocalypse game for Steves S&H, Mark, Eddie and Alex which provided an acceptable level of mayhem amongst the (fairly) recently deceased. Mike and Steve B were engaged in a Kill Team scenario involving Sisters of Battle and genestealers which was also messy.

I spent the evening moving between the games, getting photos and discussing the upcoming Franco-Prussian War show game. I've done some provisional unit stat cards which have been agreed, and which will go into production shortly. Matt's in full production with the bulk of the figures required (I have some Germans and French figures to complete) and Mike is supplying some terrain and extra buildings for the test game we're planning before the Broadside show on 10th June. Hopefully it will all come together in time.

2rnd November Games

Attendance was up on recent weeks, with Steve S, Paul, Dave K, Mark and Andy P playing The Walking Dead (the game, nothing Halloween orientated), Alan and Rob involved in what I think was a Necromunda game (I think actually Kill Team - Mike), while I settled to the planned Napoleonic naval game.

I took my Spanish squadron, which is heavy on ships over 100 guns (bought in prepainted) and I sorted out Steve a British squadron which could handle them. He did this quite effectively; I mis-timed my turn across his bows and ended up with one first rate destroyed by explosion and another struke due to damage before I could bring the rest of the squadron to play. My bad, Steve did a good job to win (curse him!).

I'll bring Battle Cry next week for some ACW action, details of any other games appreciated.

20th October Games

 Greetings

A better turnout this week. Andy P and I played Dead Man's Hand and I used beginner's luck to the max, managed to sneak a win. Good system will play again.

Steves S and H played Kill Team, Mark and Dave K played Mad Dogs With Guns, while Alan and Rob played Warcry again. Welcome visit by Mike, Steve B 1 and Steve B 2 who played Monty Python Fluxx.

So much going on I'll post the bulk of the pictures to Facebook, with a few tasters here.

Next week, I'll run a Lion Rampant Dark Ages game, while Steve S will run a Doctor Who game. I have also been asked to remind members to check in with Wayland staff on arrival to confirm which tables they should use. . .
