Busy night over at Wayland Games, but we were able to grab a table for Steve S' delayed Doctor Who game. The Tenth Doctor and UNIT were able to defeat a force of Darleks, but I think the Master may have made off with the prize.
Next week, Mark has offered to run a Lord of the Rings skirmish and I'll bring Memoir 44 as a back up.

17th January Games
Greetings
Attendance this week was servery affected by seasonal lurgy - Mark and Steve H, hope you're both feeling much better by the time you read this. Steve S' Doctor Who game was set aside until next week, and we played two games of the initial Space Hulk scenario 'Bridgehead'. The Marines got their armoured botties kicked in the first game, but managed to win the second game.
As noted above, Steve S will run his Doctor Who game next week; I'll bring something else as back up.
With regard to upcoming shows, I have now received details for Cavalier on 25/2/18 in Tonbridge. We appear to be in the hall with the Bring and Buy - no bad thing for bargains! I've also received an invitation for Broadside on 10/6/18 at Sittingbourne. Given the table size restrictions at this show, I've decided to run the Battlefleet Gothic scenario we played a while back as this fits nicely on a small table.
Whilst typing this email, I took delivery of a new display stand for future use at shows. This will help to make our games look more professional at the shows we attend.

10th January Games
Greetings
Mark ran his Barbarian Fantasy game for the bulk of those present - apparently the young woman who couldn't afford any clothes was rescued, but only after the demise of Jon's barbarian hero who was supposed to supply the muscle!
Mike C, Steve B, Steve H and I, played Lords of Waterdeep, which proved to be an interesting evening even if I did finish last.
Steve S has offered to run a Doctor Who game next week, whilst I propose to bring Space Hulk for those not participating in the former. Also, I note from the TWWS website that we have been offered a table at Cavalier 2018 on 25/2/18 to run my Big Tanks game. More details as I receive them.

3rd January Games
Greetings
Just the Steves, Mark and I turned out last night (doubtless poor weather/post Christmas lurgi etc, accounted for the rest) which enabled us to try out the Terminator Genesys game. The rules (while not perfect) play a lot better than previous feedback had indicated - I'd like to look at this from the view point of a future show game later this year. Terrain supplied by Wayland Games which suited the post-apocalyptic feel of the game.
Mark has offered to run his Barbarian Fantasy game next week, so I hope we'll see a few more of you onsite. I will bring something as back-up.
