20th February Games

Greetings

Sufficient members on hand to run two games last night - Rob ran Fallout: Wasteland Warfare, whilst Dave K and Steve S ran the planned play test for the Terminator game we are taking to Cavalier at Tonbridge this Sunday. The latter game was my prime concern, but all appeared to work well. We were fortunate enough to be joined by Matt, who has been away from the hobby for some time (and is an old aquaintance of mine from an earlier employment. I was able to get him to play the game as a complete novice and his imput was very useful. Good to see you again Matt, hopefully, we'll keep in touch this time.

As noted above, the club is running a participation game at the Cavalier show this weekend, based on the Terminator:Genesys game, which is a spin off from the film. I'll be taking the bulk of the game equipment down, but I look forward to seeing as many of you to assist with the game on the day. Two personal requests from me:
  • Please, wear the nice badges I arranged for you
  • If possible, wear a dark blue or black top - just so we can look like we're akk part of the same club
See you on Sunday. No decision has been made concerning next week's games as yet, but we can discuss this on Sunday all being well.

See yer soon

13th February Games

Greetings

Slightly reduced numbers but more than enough to run Mark's Barbarian fantasy dungeon crawl game. The adventurers' party achieved their goal but had their work cut out due to some truely epic dice rolls by Mark as GM. I have never seen so many 6is rolled from one set of dice in the course of a game; clearly dark forces were involved . . .

How do you exorcise a D6?

Next week we'll run a final test of Terminator:Genesys prior to the game at Cavalier on the 24th February. I've sent the posters to Steve H for printing and will laminate in time for the game.

See yer soon

6th february Games

Greetings

Slightly down on numbers this week due to illness, but Dave K was able to run his Western Gunfight game with myself and Mark, while Andy P ran a board game called WildLands for Mike and Steve B, and Alan and Rob played Kill Team. Games were seperated over a wide area of the site so perforce my attention to the latter games was restricted.
My entry to the gunfight game, consisting of a lawman posse, was rather less than successful this week compared to last, suffice to say I was down to two effectives by turn 5 . . .

Next week Mark has offered to run his Barbarian fantasy game (that's a dungeon crawl with a barbarian cast just to clarify), in which I hope to use some of my Frostgrave figures. I'll also bring along a board game as backup.

Formal confirmation of our attendance with the Terminator game at Cavalier in Tonbridge on 24/02/19 has been recieved.

See yer soon
