Greetings
Down on numbers again this week, so I ran a Wings of War game for Mark, Andy P, Steve S, Mike and Steve B. Based around a bombing raid by a French Breguet bomber escorted by Spad XIII's and SE5a's against Fokker D VII's, the action was suitably fast and furious.
Next week Dave K has already arranged a Mad Dogs with Guns game, whilst I propose a Lion Rampant game using the available Dark Ages figures.

22rnd May Games
Greetings
Dave K reprised his Song of Fire and Ice battle game for Mark, Andy P and Steve S last night; this time it was a victory for the Starks (the North remembers!).
I set up my Bronze Age Greeks for a game using a Lion Rampant variant. Matt showed up after a lengthy absence from club nights, and since it was his first game with the rules and the period I graciously allowed him to win by losing my leader (Achilles) to archery - this hasn't happened before? - and dismally failing a number of morale tests, losing half my army in the process.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it . . .
We appear to be a bit thin on the ground next week, so I'll bring the Wings of War/Glory WW1 aircraft. The following Wednesday a game of Mad Dogs with Guns has been agreed.
A reminder that Steve H and I will be running The Men Who Would Be Kings at the Broadside show in Sittingbourne, Kent Sunday 9/6/19. ANyone seeking to attend please speak to me.

15th May Games
Greetings
A largely fantasy theme to this week's games; Dave K ran A Song of Fire and Ice (Game of Thrones mass combat game) for Mark and Steve S, while Rob and Andy played a game of Dark Souls.
Next week, I've offered to bring along my Bronze Age Greeks for a game using a Lion Rampant variant for the period. Dave K has offered to run the Song of Fire and Ice game again, having hopefully gotten to grips with the rules.

8th May Games
Greetings
I ran a large scale (four Terminator squads) Space Hulk game for those in anttendance last night, using the Wayland Zone Mortalis set as the basis of an equipment and artifact recovery mission. It all started well, but things went South with a vengeance for the Deathwing and there were no survivors once the Stealers got their mojo working. That said, the game was well received by those playing, and with a bit of tweeking and a slight change in the layout, this will be a game I'd run again.
Next week Dave K has offered to bring along his Game of Thrones battle game, and I'll have a look at a backup game.

1st May Games
Greetings
Slightly down on numbers this week, but we were able to run two games. Mark ran his Barbarian Fantasy game for Dave K, Steve S and myself, while Rob and Andy P ran a Fallout game, whcih attracted attention from some of those onsite. We were able to use Wayland's lovely labyrinth set up for the Barbarian game, so thanks to them for finding some and allowing our use.
Next week, I'd like to use this terrain for large scale Space Hulk.
