27th March Games

A bit low on attendance again this week - and no food in the bar either! Thanks to Andrew for running his pirates game; the idea of making the rules available for player input will help their development, as I well know with the labour of love that was my Napoleonic naval rules.

Dave Crook, Steve Harbron and I played out a small Angels 20 game set on the Eastern Front. Poor Steve got the chop early on, and I was left to face off two Bf 109 G's with a lone LA5-FN. I managed to get away with a battered aircraft, but it was a joy to 'fly' and a lovely model to boot; one of the best in the new release in my view.

Next week, Chris and I will run a Hordes of the Things Sumerian game. So far as I can recall this will be the first time these figures have seen the light of day since Salute 2012, so it will be nice to give them some table time. Steve Slater has agreed to bring some board games to flesh things out - I have suggested Thunder Road for maximum mayhem!

Have a happy Easter and don't overdo the chocolate.

See yer soon,
Neil
